January 29 – Idolatrous Altars for Pagan Gods. Exodus 33:19 “And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the LORD talked with Moses.”
Luke 1:72 “To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant.”

His Character-Merciful … Who is God that He should care for me? Even though we forget who He is, we see time and again He didn’t forget about us as we see His mercy woven into every society since time began. Humanity’s focus shifts from era to era, and the altars we’ve built stand as reminders of our rebellion. The image above is the depiction of altars and temples men have built to either honor the God of the Bible, or a manmade version thereof.
Mormons say their temples serve as a place to worship their god, however, the works they perform inside only serve as an altar to earn godhood status. They’ve recently changed the clothing requirements – again. The latest was in January 2020.

Why Latter-day Saints Build Temples “From the days of the Old Testament, the Lord has commanded His people to build temples-sacred structures where He could teach, guide, and bless them…When Jesus Christ was on the earth, the only existing temple was known as the Temple of Herod…After the rejection and deaths of Jesus’ Apostles, there were no temples on the earth for many centuries. When the gospel of Jesus Christ was restored in the early 1800s, the Lord again commanded His people to build temples (see D&C 88:119; see also section 95).”
For I am the Lord, I CHANGE NOT. Malachi 3:6
So why more changes to the temple garments?
Where in the Bible does Jesus command anyone to wear special garmets, and go and build a bunch of temples? Jesus is now our Temple. He was the promised and final sacrifice…hence NO MORE NEED FOR TEMPLES.
God no longer dwells in temples made by hands. He dwells in the body of believers.
The one true God does not exist in any of your temples. And as Michelle said the temples are an altar to exalting yourselves to become gods.
