‘Every word of God is pure: He is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. 6 Add thou not unto his words, Lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.’ Proverbs 30:5-6
General Conference, ‘Shall We Not Go On in So Great a Cause?’ April 2020 “Joseph came to realize that the Bible did not contain all the answers to life’s questions; rather, it taught men and women how they could find answers to their questions by communicating directly with God through prayer.” — M. Russell Ballard
Deuteronomy 17:19 “And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words of this law and these statutes, to do them”.
When I read Mr. Ballard’s comment about God’s precious word, my heart sunk. The first person I thought of was Jesus, and what He must be thinking. The next person I thought of was my mother.
Comments like this one is what has put doubts into the minds of LDS members since its inception.
If you claim you’re a Christian organization, why are you denouncing God’s perfect word? I don’t know of any Christian who doesn’t use the Bible for guidance in every aspect of life. It’s not only sad for Mr. Ballard, but especially for people like my mother, and the millions of others who believe these horrific lies.
Please, pray for those who listened, and believed in what this false apostle said! Also share with the Mormon you know why we can trust the word of God. See our list of 60+ verses where God said you can rely on His word at Bible is Reliable.
With Love in Christ;

It’s interesting, he says “Joseph came to realize …” And not what God says.
It’s only Counter Christian denominations that teach the Bible isn’t reliable.
