December 15 — Betraying Jesus. Jeremiah 23:5 “Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth. 6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.”
John 13:13 “Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.”

Every person has a reason why they won’t allow Jesus to be God of their life, but someday every knee will bow – Romans 4:11.
For a moment today, place yourself into the scenario that took place in John 13:13. Jesus had just finished washing the feet of His disciples, and went on to say someone in their midst would betray Him.
Sadly, my own people have placed their leaders, or even themselves, in the exalted position of a god. They’ve bought into the lie God’s perfect word can’t be trusted, and have rejected, or don’t even know about, the fulfilled prophecy we read about in John’s gospel.
The Mormon Church has hidden itself amongst true believers, to conceal their acts of betraying Jesus. Unlike their founder, Joseph Smith never shied away from bragging about his treacherous works.
Don’t miss the opportunity of sharing the truth about the fulfilled prophecies about Jesus with the Mormon you know!

Joseph Confesses to Tricking Family — Mormon Portraits, p 228; “The Affidavits of 1833-1834…Peter Ingersoll…Joseph told me, on his return, that he intended to keep the promise which he had made to his father-in-law, “but,” said he “it will be hard for me, for they will all oppose, as they want me to look in the stone for them to dig money,” and, in fact, it was as he predicted.
THEY URGED HIM, day after day, to resume his old practice of looking in the stone. One day he came and greeted me with a joyful countenance, and said: “As I was passing, yesterday, across the woods, I found, in a hollow, some beautiful white sand. I took off my frock, and tied up several quarts of it and then went home.
On my entering the house I found the family at the table, eating dinner. They were all anxious to know the contents of my frock. At that moment I happened to think of what I had heard of a history found in Canada, called the GOLDEN BIBLE, so I very gravely told them it was the Golden Bible. To my surprise they were credulous enough to believe what I said. Accordingly, I told them that I had received a commandment to let no one see it, for, says I, no man can see it with the naked eye and live. Now, said Joe, I HAVE GOT THE DAMNED FOOLS FIXED AND WILL CARRY OUT THE FUN.” – Dr. W. Wyl, 1886
