Psalm 139:7 “Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?”
LDS Living “The all-seeing eye is a symbol of God’s protection and omnipresence (see Psalm 33:18 and Proverbs 15:3).”
Psalm 33:18 “Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy”.
Proverbs 15:3 “The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.”
LDS Living posted an article on a few of the symbols seen on the Salt Lake Temple and for the sake of brevity today, we’re looking at just one of the five things they mentioned – the ‘All-Seeing-Eye’. To read their article in full see 5 Fascinating Symbols on the Salt Lake Temple + the Meanings Behind Them.
Our questions/observations for today are as follows –
How could their god be omnipresent when the Church has declared otherwise? The reference below for Brigham Young is just one in a long list of examples where the Church denies God is omnipresent.
Discourses of Brigham Young, p. 36 “Some would have us believe that God is present everywhere. It is not so. He is no more everywhere present in person than the Father and Son are one in person.”
While we could be here for a month of Sundays with exhaustive scriptures exposing their lies, the three verses above are sufficient in themselves.
We pray that Christians will see their lies for what they are, and share the truth with a Mormon today!
Lastly beloved, the all-seeing eye symbol is Masonic, and has no place in the life of true Christianity! In reality, it’s the Eye of the pagan god Horus. See Inverted Pentagrams for our list. The problem with their article is obvious, but more importantly members of the Church are being saturated from all angles with the lies they produce.
With Love in Christ –—
Michelle
Yep, they stole the whole idea from the Freemasons when the took over the local masonic lodge.
