June 14 — All Creatures of Our God and King. Psalm 148:5 “Let them praise the name of the Lord: For he commanded, and they were created.”

The mere fact this earth exists, and the sheer number of things it contains, serves as evidence our God knows more than our finite minds can comprehend. All creatures should praise His Holy Name, and that includes us!
The picture of the turtles is a good reason to discount what the Church teaches about man, and God’s creation. The best I could do is take a picture of what I saw while taking a walk on the beach.
If the LDS reference below is true, ask yourself how someone could make a starfish. Surely, if we helped God create the earth in the pre-existence, we could do so again with all the technology we have today; right?
Ask the Mormon you know if they believe they helped God with creation. Moreover, how did God create Jesus. or mankind, if they already existed? Oh, the tangled web we weave…

Encyclopedia of Mormonism, p. 340 “Latter-day Saints have, in addition to the biblical Genesis, two modern restorations of ancient scriptural accounts of the Creation in the Book of Moses and the book of Abraham. … Drawing on this wealth of creation literature, Latter-day Saints understand that Jesus Christ, acting under the direction of God the Father, created this and other worlds to make possible the immortality and eternal life of human beings who already existed as spirit children of the Father. This understanding differs from both scientific and traditional Christian accounts in that it affirms God’s purpose and role, while recognizing creation as organization of preexisting materials, and not as an ex nihilo event (creation from nothing). Furthermore, these accounts describe an active role for God’s spirit children in the Creation and include a more detailed version of the origins of evil.”
