Matthew 27:51 “And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent.”

The LDS Church has gone out of its way to make a mockery of something in God’s most Holy works. The vail/veil.

It’s one of the key things Christians are most aware of in their walk with Him. Today we’re looking at the Mormon definition of the word veil, and comparing it with what our Lord has said in His word.

As we all know, the veil was rent in two at the death of Jesus, giving us direct access to God. It signified there would no longer be any need for sacrifices, as Jesus’ spilt blood fulfilled the Law. Never again would God reside inside a temple made of hands Acts 17:24.

friend-magazine-mormon July 2016In the upcoming July issue of (the) Friend, a magazine especially written for Mormon children, there’s a game designed to help them learn all they must do to return back to Heavenly Father.

Many of you may be wondering, how they are going to return “back” to God? Well, according to Mormon doctrine all of us lived in a place called the pre-existence. We lived there as spirit children of Heavenly Father before we came to earth, and attained physical bodies. And if we do all we can do, based on Mormon teachings, we can return to Heavenly Father’s presence.

Swearing Allegiance to False Memories

allen-haynie-first-quorum-seventyGeneral Conference, ‘Remembering in Whom We Have Trusted,’ October 2015; “Before we came to this earth, we participated as spirit sons and daughters of God in a grand council.2 Each of us was paying attention, and none of us fell asleep. In that council our Father in Heaven presented a plan. Because the plan preserved our agency and required that we learn from our own experience and not just from His, He knew we would commit sin. He also knew that sin would cause us to become unclean and unable to return to His presence…

Old-Testament-Gospel-Doctrine-Teachers-Manual-35570000Like the first lesson in their study of the Old Testament lesson two has very little to do with the Bible, but has many references to other books in their canon.

This next lesson focuses on the Mormon belief that all of us lived before we came to earth in a premortal life with God. In this premortal life we lived as spirit children of God his goddess wife/wives. These spirit children include every person who has ever been born including Jesus and Satan, and 1/3 of the spirits who chose to follow Satan.
