December 29 – 161 LDS Temples Can’t Provide Salvation. Daniel 9:26c; “And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary…”

Thirty-eight years before the temple was destroyed in 70 AD, Jesus died upon the cross at Calvary, fulfilling the prophecy in Daniel 9:26.
Matthew 27:50-51 “Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost. 51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent.”
It also fulfilled Jesus’ prophecy in Matthew 24:1-2, when He told His disciples the temple would soon be destroyed. To gain further insight on how horrific the events were at the time Nero destroyed Jerusalem, see Wikipedia’s article with insights from Josephus’ report of more than 1.1 million Jews being murdered.
Be sure to ask the Mormon why God would want temples built again when He gave us direct access to Him after the veil was torn in two with the destruction of the temple. As of December 2021, there are 161 operating LDS temples.
Most importantly – why would ‘true and perfect worship’ only be found in keeping all their commandments, which includes being married in the temple?

LDS Doctrine and Covenants Student Manual 2002, Section 93, ‘Truth is Knowledge of Things,’ pp 217-222 & General Conference, ‘How to Worship,’ October 1971; “…In other words, true and perfect worship consists in following in the steps of the Son of God; it consists in keeping the commandments and obeying the will of the Father to that degree that we advance from grace to grace until we are glorified in Christ as he is in his Father. It is far more than prayer and sermon and song. It is living and doing and obeying. It is emulating the life of the great Exemplar.
With this principle before us, may I now illustrate some of the specifics of that divine worship which is pleasing to him whose we are? To worship the Lord is to be married in the temple, to have children, to teach them the gospel, and to bring them up in light and truth.” – Bruce McConkie

Is their an actual list of ALL their “commandments, ordinances, rules, principles, laws…so one can know if they’re keeping them ALL? If not how will anyone know if they’re being compliant? The leaders are never specific in their talks.
Good question!
Also I recently listened to a podcast, and the guest said her ex husband stole money and credit cards from members while working in the Rexburg temple.
Shouldn’t the “temple” be the safest place?
This just proves this calling wasn’t from God.
Scary!!!
