February 20 – LDS Kids Told to Pray to Feel the Holy Ghost. Isaiah 64:6 “But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.”

Ask a Mormon why they need a special permission slip to enter their temples, if this wasn’t the model for entering temples in biblical times. If the Church is a ‘restoration’ of the original, why aren’t they doing so?
The directive of praying to feel the Holy Ghost is heartbreaking. It sounds a lot like a camp meeting where people gather to tell ghost stories.
Lastly, beloved, don’t miss sharing the real meaning of the Hebrew translation for ‘filthy rags’ with your Mormon friend. The graphic description God gave us really puts our useless works in perspective!

Preparing to do Baptisms for the Dead; “Have an interview with your bishop or branch president. If you are worthy, he will give you a limited-use temple recommend.
Help do family history work so you can take family names to the temple, if possible.
Study the scriptures and Church publications (such as the October 2010 Liahona) that will help you understand temple work….
Pray to feel the Holy Ghost when you are in the temple.
Don’t take books, electronics, or music on the way to the temple that will not help you feel reverent.”
What sort of “feelings” does the Holy Ghost give? What objective proof does one have to verify these feelings Are of the H.G.?
Good question!

Where in the Bible does it say we need a card with a special bar code on it to get in the temple??? Sorry but,the “temple recommend” you carry in your wallet means nothing more to God than your Costco card…they both let you in a building that’s all. Your worthiness is not through a Bishop. Your worthiness is in Christ alone. No special card needed, He knows who you are.
AMEN!!!!
