‘And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.’ Isaiah 35:8
TheChurchNews.com “Heavenly Father’s children who live on this earth should prepare to return to Him by doing everything He commands.
“The path to perfection is the covenant path, and Christ is the center of all ordinances and covenants.” …by participating in the sacrament, remembering the Savior and keeping His commandments, “we shall have His Spirit to be with us.” The Lord also “renews the promised remission of sin.”
“We need the Spirit to help us navigate through mortality and the sacrament to energize our spiritual being.” — Adeyinka A. Ojediran
Hebrews 9:14 “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”
There are numerous verses we could list here to refute what Mr. Ojediran stated in his talk and no doubt you the reader have a list of your own! The first thing I thought of is what it says in our biblical verse above. However, one could also apply all of chapters 9-10 in the book of Hebrews as well.
Furthermore, participating in the Sacrament’ doesn’t renew Jesus’ atonement! Hebrews 10:10 states “By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.” [emp. added]
Taking communion (sacrament) is what believers do to remember the sacrifice He made on the cross for our sin. Moreover, the elements at communion consist of unleavened bread and either wine, or grape juice. The liquid representing His shed blood. Using water is another blasphemous sign pointing to their false gospel stating Jesus paid for sins at Gethsemane – Doctrine and Covenants 19:18.
When you have the opportunity do share the truth with a Mormon you know. We pray members will stop to think about what this false teacher said!
