Are LDS Temples The Happiest Place On Earth?
Earlier this month Jana Riess with RNS published an article about the latest changes to LDS temple ceremonies.
When I read about the fourteen changes I couldn’t help but remember Smith’s promise that temple ceremonies would never change. Despite his claim changes began within a year. For more info with a list of changes see Temple Endowments: Can They Change?.
And if there is any doubt the Church can’t keep promises the headline of their 2019 news brief should clear that up. Here in part is what they said –
“Prophets have taught that there will be no end to such adjustments as directed by the Lord to His servants.”
All that aside I found what Ms. Riess said near the end of her article to be more revealing than what LDS.inc has done lately.
Near the end of her article she pointed out a few of the most remarkable changes in temple ceremonies. One of those took place in 1953 when the Church began using clips of a volcano exploding from the Disney movie Fantasia to represent how the earth was created.
You can read more about this in the article Riess recommended from Dialogue, A Journal of Mormon Thought. It’s a great resource of how the Church’s ceremonies have evolved since its inception.
For me this isn’t just a matter of how the Church doesn’t keep its promises but rather it’s another layer of the Church buddying up with an organization like Disney. The question of why the Church doesn’t have any discernment must be asked.
This isn’t the only time the Church has promoted Disney. Two years ago we posted an article how they used another clip from Hollywood’s magical make-believe world. For more info see Pinocchio Film in Orlando Temple Cornerstone.
Be sure to ask the Mormon you know for their opinion about the Church’s changes and their involvement with a company known for soliciting evil witchcraft.
Lastly beloved, it seems like an odd coincidence the Church came out with the latest changes at the same time they’re facing legal trouble with the Feds and the 100 billion dollar money problem. See Forbes for more info. The Church claims they’re saving it for the 2nd Coming of Christ. Hmmm…
We’re wondering if the changes are a deterrent to take attention away from what’s going on in Washington.
Pray for those who still believe their leaders and for Jesus to intervene! Never forget that witchcraft is forbidden!
Leviticus 19:31 “Regard not them that have familiar spirits, neither seek after wizards, to be defiled by them: I am the LORD your God.”
With Love in Christ —

[…] Disney’s Union With LDS Temples […]
Well I’ve referred to the Haunted Mansion as the Anaheim temple. And I think the Pinocchio film in the Orlando temple is very fitting because it’s all lies. It’s all a Mickey Mouse operation anyway. Sorry I couldn’t resist a little Disney humor.
And as far as the church is claiming all that stock piled billions is for the 2nd coming, just proves they are not Christian and don’t understand what the 2nd coming means. Because the Christians will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air Hallelujah! We won’t need money or food storage.
AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
