The LDS website ‘Daily Gems’ contains numerous pages of ‘inspirational’ quotes by various leaders of the Church. One such quote came from their prophet, George Albert Smith, who said their missionaries aren’t sent out to criticize, or find fault with others.
We found it interesting because the Church’s entire message is that Christianity couldn’t be found on earth, hence, Joe Smith’s gospel.
Compare what their present day gospel says with the words of George Albert Smith, and you’ll see for yourself.
Indeed, they’re hiding their true identity.
D&C 1:30-31 “And also those to whom these commandments were given, might have power to lay the foundation of this church, and to bring it forth out of obscurity and out of darkness, the only true and living church upon the face of the whole earth, with which I, the Lord, am well pleased, speaking unto the church collectively and not individually—31 For I the Lord cannot look upon sin with the least degree of allowance”.

“Our Heavenly Father … has sent us, his representatives, into the world, not to drive or coerce, but to invite. “Come follow me,” is what the Savior said, “And I will give you peace.” That is what the Gospel teaches, and that is our ministry. It is not the purpose of this Church to make statements that would hurt the feelings of those who do not understand things. This Church is not one that goes about criticising and finding fault with others, but in the spirit of loving kindness and the desire to be helpful, its representatives carry the Gospel message to the nations of the earth.” — George Albert Smith, “How to Share the Gospel Effectively”
