June 8 — Who’s The Redeemer? Isaiah 43:1 “But now thus saith the Lord that created thee, O Jacob, And he that formed thee, O Israel, I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine.”

Isaiah 54:5 “For thy Maker is thine husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and thy Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.”
Each time I think of the word redeemer it immediately brings me to the cross. It’s been a source of refuge for me, and all Christians.
LDS members will someday have to accept what the Lord revealed about Himself in Isaiah. We’re on our knees each day asking Jesus to open their hearts to this truth before it’s too late. For the record, the word, ‘Redeemer’, is in the OT 18 times.
The LDS reference below sounds like an unattached entity with little information revealing who he/it is, making it impossible how to worship, or where to learn more about Jesus. They’ve essentially stripped Him of His true identity, and why He’s our blessed Redeemer. Our hearts are broken for their loss in this life, and the one to come.

Mormon Doctrine, p. 441 “Christ is the Redeemer (Isa. 41:14; 54:5; Alma 37:9; 3 Ne. 10:10; D. & C. 15:1; 18:47) because it is he who worked out the redemption, which ransoms and redeems men from the effects of the fall of Adam. He is so named nearly a score of times in both the Old Testament and the Doctrine and Covenants and more than 40 times in the Book of Mormon.” — Bruce R. McConkie, 1966
