Church News, ‘A Voice of Gladness’, April 2023 “Temples bring joy to those who participate in ordinances and make covenants in them. Temple gifts include priesthood authority, families sealed forever and eternal life. These blessings are made possible through Jesus Christ’s Atonement. … On this Palm Sunday, praise God and His goodness. “What do we hear in the gospel which we have received? Truly a voice of gladness.”” — Kevin Duncan
Hebrews 9:14 “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”
How could temples be a voice of gladness when it means you have to work?

[…] Are Temples The Voice Of Gladness? […]
Since the temple film/ceremony has changed many times, I´m not sure why they trust it at all. The protestant minister played by Max Golightly in the 70s+ (my BYU drama teacher) and is now erased from the film, and Peter (I think) played by Gordon Jump, Mr. Maytag, I was sometimes distracted from the point of the ceremony. Green aprons and ham is more like it. The dear Lord gave His life for this baloney….I think not!
That description always kills me. It’s a sad display of their reality and a stark reminder of what not to get involved in! Ugh…
