July 6 – LDS: Salvation an Attainment of Man. Is. 61:10 “I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he hath clothed me with the garments of salvation, he hath covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decketh himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorneth herself with her jewels.”

This calendar has been put together for all the Mormon people who find themselves in the darkness of a non-existent salvation.
When I read verses such as today’s, I grieve for my own parents who don’t know the hope I have in the Lord. How I wish I could show them the truthfulness of what our God has to give them!
While the Mormon in your life is still speaking to you, share with them what Isaiah prophesied to the people and pray for their salvation.

“Salvation is sometimes termed a gift of God, but it is nonetheless an attainment of man. While man cannot reach salvation without God, God cannot extend salvation except as it is obtained by the growth of the individual. Man cannot attain salvation except through obedience to all law, for salvation means freedom from all pain, and the breaking of a law is always accompanied by a penalty.” William Edwin Berrett, The Restored Church, p. 366.
Why do they even open the Bible? BTW, while looking Ed Berrett up, I discovered he wrote a book entitled Mormonism and the Negroid People, 1960. Per Wikipedia it read….¨On pages 16–17, he expresses his opinions on African-Americans that may sound offensive to a 21st-century reader.¨ I wonder what he said there?
Yeah, Mr. Berrett had a lot to say didn’t he? They use the Bible as a ruse to confuse as I always say….
