May 6 – LDS: Temple is Most Important Need. 1 Timothy 3:16 “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”

A Christian’s life is spent seeking out how to fulfill their greatest need in life, and that is simply knowing more about the man Jesus who left the glory of heaven for one purpose; to die for us. If we find anything else disguising itself to take its place, it must be banished straightaway. Piety (godliness) is best defined in the way we speak of, and point to, the Cross.
Ask the Mormon you know what new thing they learned about Jesus the last time they went to the temple.
More times than not, they won’t be able to give an answer. Don’t fill in the blanks for them.
Allow any silence to be the uncomfortable thing it should be. Your goal is to give them something to think about in their alone time later on.
You want them to see they can be in charge of their own lives, and not do things based on what they’re told they ‘must’ do.

We need God, more then anything else.🙏🙏🙏
AMEN, AMEN, AMEN!!!!!!
Why is the LDS church having legal and zoning issues with building temples in Cody Wyoming and McKinney Texas? Why can’t they comply with the local building and zoning restrictions? In Cody WY they want to build a monstrosity with a 101 ft. lighted spire. And a 173 ft spire in Texas. They are bullying these little towns with litigation and their wealth. What about their 12th AOF -We believe in being subject to kings, presidents, rulers, magistrates, in obeying, honoring, and sustaining the law???
From what I’ve counted (by their pictures), 6 temples don’t have any spire or steeple. 63 temples have no Moroni.
The church has been trying to build a temple in Shanghai China. Now they are referring to this temple as a “multi-purpose” building. I’m guessing the original plans were more grandiose. There are plenty of articles on this if you want to check it out. Once again, the LDS church is trying to use their made up power to take over these little towns… much like the the church of Scientology. I also read the Shanghai temple will be by appointment only. Which leads me to believe that it won’t be a very busy temple (multi purpose building). It doesn’t sound like
it will be staffed with volunteers with regular business hours.
My humble opinion.

Oh, the nitty-gritty details! How can it be a multi-purpose building when temples are notoriously difficult to get into?
The tangled web they weave…
I see they won’t challenge the Chinese government, but they’ll bully small town America. Are there enough LDS members in China for a temple??? I read the Hong Kong temple in being renovated. SMH
