The punishment of Satan and the third of the hosts of heaven who followed him, was that they were denied the privilege of being born into this world and receiving mortal bodies. They did not keep their first estate and were denied the opportunity of eternal progression.” – Joseph Fielding Smith

Hebrews 1:5 “For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?”

This verse from Hebrews may seem out of place for those unfamiliar with Mormonism.
Remember, Joseph Smith taught that Jesus and Lucifer are spirit brothers. Lucifer wanted to save everyone, and the council of the gods didn’t agree with him so they tossed him and one-third of the spirits in the pre-existence out of heaven. Abraham 3:25-28
Their punishment was that they’d receive no bodies and roam earth to deceive the elect.
Please, share with a Mormon the only one in the pre-existence was the Lord – John 3:13. The Bible confirms again this in 1 Corinthians 15:44-47 stating man was first created from the earth and then raised a spiritual body.

I wonder how many Mormons read the Doctrines of salvation, the Bible and the bom. It would be so confusing to me. Thank God ,the only truth is in the Bible. Why do Mormons think they need a bom,because a man said they did? God doesn’t change and his word is the Bible.🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏for them all. I 🙏🙏🙏 I can get through to at least one of them.
People like my mother wouldn’t read it. but she’ll listen to their talks and believe every word of it. That said, there are a fair amount that do read it and they just keep getting pulled further into the labyrinth of lies.
And you’re spot on with stating the Bible is the only thing we need. AMEN!!!
