February 16 – The Mormon Heavenly Mother. 1 Corinthians 15:47 “The first man is of the earth, earthy: the second man is the Lord from heaven”.

Mormons will tell you there aren’t any scriptures that say we don’t have a heavenly mother yet it’s clear God is self-existent and doesn’t need outside help for creating us. This also means there’s no such thing as a heavenly mother.
Furthermore, Jesus is the only one to come down from heaven which means we were not with Him before living on this earth. There’s nothing in the Bible indicating we all lived in a family unit which means there’s no such thing as a Mormon heavenly mother!
John 3:13 “And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.”

“This doctrine that there is a Mother in Heaven was affirmed in plainness by the First Presidency of the Church…that man is the “offspring of celestial parentage” and that “all men and women are in the similitude of the universal Father and Mother, and are literally the sons and daughters of Deity””. Mormon Doctrine p. 366, Bruce McConkie.

Ask the Mormon why he/she believes there is a “Heavenly Mother” because the only people claiming there’s a mother in heaven is the Church.
Be sure to let them know you’re praying for them!

[…] The Mormon Heavenly Mother – Bruce McConkie […]
Sorry to break the news to Mormons, there isn’t a heavenly mother. Will they believe the Word of God or their so called prophets?🙏🙏🙏🙏
Even as a Mormon I didn’t understand their theory on this one…
If there was a heavenly mother, then why did their god have sex with Mary to provide a body for Jesus instead of sex with heavenly mother?
Good point! 🙂
