February 26 — What’s the Meaning of “Families are Forever”? Gospel Fundamentals, p. 177 “God made it possible for families to be together forever. He has given the leaders of His Church the authority to bind families together forever. This binding together is called sealing. This sealing can take place only in a temple. Temples are sacred buildings where only faithful members of the Church may go. When a man and woman are sealed in the temple by someone who holds the priesthood and has special power to seal, their marriage will not end when they die. Their marriage will last forever if they keep the promises they made in the temple. This is called eternal marriage.
If a man and a woman are not sealed in the temple, the marriage ends when one of them dies. If we are sealed in the temple, and if we faithfully follow Jesus Christ to the end of our lives, our families can be together forever.”

Mark 12:18-25 “Then come unto him the Sadducees, which say there is no resurrection; and they asked him, saying, 19 Master, Moses wrote unto us, If a man’s brother die, and leave his wife behind him, and leave no children, that his brother should take his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother. 20 Now there were seven brethren: and the first took a wife, and dying left no seed. 21 And the second took her, and died, neither left he any seed: and the third likewise. 22 And the seven had her, and left no seed: last of all the woman died also. 23 In the resurrection therefore, when they shall rise, whose wife shall she be of them? for the seven had her to wife. 24 And Jesus answering said unto them, Do ye not therefore err, because ye know not the scriptures, neither the power of God? 25 For when they shall rise from the dead, they neither marry, nor are given in marriage; but are as the angels which are in heaven.”

How can you totally dismiss this passage of scripture and still tell people you believe in the Bible?
I received a phone call years ago from a gentleman asking if I thought it was safe to buy a KJV Bible on e-Bay if it was being sold by someone in the Mormon Church.
I obviously told him no because they have LDS footnotes in them, but this little exchange tells of a clear example of how the evil one is always on the prowl looking for who he can devour. 1 Peter 5:8-9.
This scenario is what makes my heart sad for the unsuspecting and those who are so trusting of people who don’t have their best interests at heart. This gentleman thought this Bible being sold for $20 was a good deal because it was bound in upscale leather.
The Church is a master manipulator when it comes to twisting scripture or throwing it completely out when it doesn’t suit their needs. I’ve never met a Mormon who will agree with the passage in Mark.
They’ll tell you that it’s meant for those who don’t get married in the temple.
Pray for them to see the folly of their reasoning and for Jesus to open their eyes!

Oh my gosh. Guess they don’t read the Bible. No marriages in heaven.
Oh they’ve read it. They’d rather believe Joe Smith and not Jesus. Ugh…
Oh my, that’s terrible. Yes, it’s a cult. There are alot out there but people don’t realize they are in them. They believe their leader not Jesus. Sorry to say that but it’s truth. The truth will ser them free.🙏🙏🙏

It’s amazing how many people get out! You, me, Sage Brush, everyone that’s volunteered for me over the years, and don’t forget everyone else who Jesus has saved! He is good!
