March 2 — Language of the Book of Mormon. Discourses of the Prophet Joseph Smith, p. 244 “The error I speak of is the definition of the word Mormon. It has been stated that this word was derived from the Greek word mormo. This is not the case. There was no Greek or Latin upon the plates from which I, through the grace of the Lord, translated the Book of Mormon. Let the language of the book speak for itself.”

Proverbs 19:9 “A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish”.
_____
Oh, the lies he told…
My volunteers and I spent several months collecting evidence to publish a document on the Greek and Latin words in the Book of Mormon. At the end of our research, we counted 7, 354 Greek and/or Latin words in the Book of Mormon.
We’ve provided a chart of the words; the number of times each appears as well as the location of the word. You can read it here — Book of Mormon Greek and Latin word chart.
Once again Smith has proven himself to be a false prophet – Deuteronomy 18:20-22.
Share this info with a Mormon and ask for their opinion on what Smith said.
Every Mormon will have a different reason for why they believe Smith over the truth so don’t be taken aback at what you’ll hear.
With Love in Christ –
