November 29 — The Seer, p. 23 “The Gods who dwell in the Heaven from which our spirits came, are beings who have been redeemed from the grave in a world which existed before the foundations of this earth were laid.
They and the Heavenly body which they now inhabit were once in a fallen state.
Their terrestrial world was redeemed, and glorified, and made a Heaven: their terrestrial bodies, after suffering death, were redeemed, and glorified, and made Gods.
And thus, as their world was exalted from a temporal to an eternal state, thy were exalted also, from fallen men to Celestial Gods to inhabit their Heaven forever and ever. These Gods, being redeemed from the grave with their wives, are immortal and eternal…” — Orson Pratt

1 Corinthians 2:14 “But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

It makes ya wonder about the imaginations of the teachers who come up with these wild tales. If they spent half the time studying the Bible as they did making this stuff up it would’ve made for a great organization who could be relied on for truth!
Orson Pratt’s teachings may seem like something from long ago, however, the Church is still singing the same swan song today.
Please pray Mormons will turn to Jesus and not the heathen doctrines found in their core doctrines today!

[…] Fallen Men to Celestial Gods— Orson Pratt […]
Any reason you have decided to take this out of context and misrepresent what Orson Pratt actually wrote? I read through the entire Seer Article you linked to. I also came across Timothy R. Berman’s post he recently published on this and read it as well – he points out how you are engaged in logical fallacies.
