Welcome to our series about God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit of the Bible!
In this series we’re taking a look at each member of the Trinity to gain a full understanding of how God operates. The purpose is to use this as a witnessing tool for Christians, as well as a reliable info portal for Mormons to learn about the true God of the Bible!
As stated in our articles listed below we wanted to make sure our focus on who God is would be free of any extraneous subject matters, so you’ll only find biblical references in each. For references about Joseph Smith see our category on him here.
If you’re LDS, please know we’re praying for you – we want you to know we don’t publish these things to bash your faith or to belittle you at all. On the contrary, we do this because we’ve been in your shoes, and our hearts hurt for you. Also, know that we pray for you each and every day, and hope you’ll know the Jesus of the Bible!
With Love in Christ;
Michelle †
Part one contains a list of around 60 biblical references declaring there is only One God. It leaves no doubt Mormons have removed themselves from the ranks of Christianity. Their own doctrine serves as a damning testimony of who they worship, and what their agenda is all about, that being Joseph Smith.
In 1994 LDS prophet Howard Hunter, declared Mormon temples to be the symbol of a Mormon’s worship. It’s a clear indication there’s something drastically wrong here! Jesus told us we can’t serve two masters, so if they’re serving the temple and those inside the temple, they can’t be serving Jesus!
Our focus here is solely on God, and in this case, the Holy Spirit. We’ve listed 53 passages of scripture defining the Holy Spirit that we hope will be of help to you in your own life, and for use when witnessing to Mormons. If you’d like further info on anything in this series, or other parts of our site, don’t hesitate to let us know!
