Conference Report, April 1910, Afternoon Session, p. 92; “You can all do something. You owe it to your God. Some day we have got to give an account for every idle word spoken, and for all our acts upon the earth. We must do our share in preaching this Gospel of Jesus Christ, because we know it is true…
…if you want a portion of this earth and the fulness thereof, you will have it by being true to your covenants, this will be your future inheritance—this earth and the fulness thereof will sometime be given to the Saints of the most high God, and they will possess it forever and forever. If you keep the faith, eternal heaven will be this globe from which your bodies were made, and it will be your Kolob forever and forever.
May God bless this work; may God bless the prophets, seers, and revelators who rule over it. May we always love them, and let the world know that we do love them, and not be ashamed of it. I would rather take the counsel and advice of President Joseph F. Smith than that of any man on this earth; and if some people don’t like it, they can lump it. (Laughter.) Amen.” – Elder Ben E.
