Demonic Names in the Book of Mormon Part 1
Over the past month I’ve received numerous requests asking when, or if, we’d ever talk about our series, Demonic Names in the Book of Mormon – so here it is! Look for the new updates on the day of posting and be sure to share these with the Mormon you know!
While studying some points of interest in Masonry, I came across some names within their books that sounded familiar to me.
The familiarity became abundantly clear when I opened the Book of Mormon. I began researching some of the names in the Book of Mormon and their meanings. I compared them with the Bible, bible dictionaries, and even Webster’s dictionary.

January 31 – The true meaning for Mulek in the Book of Mormon is demon god. However, here’s the Book of Mormon’s definition: Mulek was the land in the north God prospered and appointed. Mulek was a son of Zedekiah. Helaman 6:10.

Book of Mormon Timeline
Today’s dilemma is filled with many subject matters for the Mormon and non-Mormon alike to explore in the Book of Mormon.
While perusing the latest edition of the monthly LDS magazine, Ensign, I came upon a section called “Book of Mormon Timeline”. Since this kind of fits in with the false prophecy we talked about yesterday we thought it’d be a good thing to look at! Here is the link for the Ensign article;
