Zion’s Camp; Angels go Before You, Curse Enemy
D&C103:15-25; Behold, I say unto you, the redemption of Zion must needs come by power… 24 And inasmuch as mine enemies come against you to drive you from my goodly land, which I have consecrated to be the land of Zion, even from your own lands after these testimonies, which ye have brought before me against them, ye shall curse them.”
Prophecy given in Kirtland, OH on February 24, 1834. History of the Church 2:36-39.
Jesus told us not to curse, but love and pray for your enemies – Matt. 5:44.
Ever read the command to “shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.”
Sounds like a curse to me.
@shemwater it is interesting that to you choices that people make turns into a curse from Jesus. Just because he could foretell what was going to happen. That is definitely a different way for someone to read the Bible. I think I like Fred’s way better.

Christ was not foretelling anything. He was saying that if the Apostles gave the sign of shaking the dust off their feet he would curse the town. There is no other way to see this and actually be accurate to what is being said.
It is not simply foretelling because it is conditional on whether they accept or not. If it was foretelling it would not be conditioned on anything.
I prefer to think like Christ and his apostles.
“I prefer to think like Christ and his apostles.” ?????!!!!!????
You coulda fooled me…
