Honesty is Such a Lonely Word…
“Truth – and More”, Ensign, January 1986, pg 69; “Important as truth is, often we need truth and more…Indeed, in some instances, the merciful companion to truth is silence. Some truths are best left unsaid… Any who are tempted to rake through the annals of history, to use truth unrighteously, or to dig up “facts” with the intent to defame or destroy, should hearken to this warning of scripture:
“The righteousness of God [is] revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness.” (Rom. 1:17–18.)
I repeat: “The wrath of God is … against all … who hold the truth in unrighteousness.”” – Apostle Russell M. Nelson

Galatians 4:16; “Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?
God always has the perfect thing to say.
This is a false prophecy based on what their apostle Bruce McConkie had to say about being honest.
Mormon Doctrine, pg 364; “All men are commanded to be honest as one of the requisites for working out their salvation. (D. & C. 51:9; 97:8; Rom. 13:13; 2 Cor. 13:7; Philip. 4:8; 1 Thess. 4:12; Heb. 13:18; 1 Pet. 2:12; Thirteenth Article of Faith.) Those who are honest in heart readily accept the gospel and its truths. (D. & C. 8:1; 11:10; 135:7.) Honest men should be sought for to administer the civil law. (D. & C. 98:10.)”
Hmmm…was that a threat in Mr. Nelson’s speech?
