Teaching Mormon Youth about the Godhead
The LDS Church has instituted a month long program on teaching their youth about the Mormon godhead.
What I found interesting was a one paragraph synopsis of what young men will learn about their “divine heritage” by discovering the nature of their god.
“In learning about the nature and roles of each member of the Godhead, young men can better understand their identity and divine heritage…”

As a created human being our heritage includes our sin nature. We’re only good if/when we accept His atoning sacrifice and that’s when God sees us as righteous! There’s nothing divine about sin and nothing divine in us. To believe otherwise is nothing short of prideful heresy. Those being taught these things can’t be held accountable, but those teaching it and subsequently believing the lies place us on a road that separates us from the One True God.
Pray for all those who sit in these classes this month. The young men aren’t the only people affected. These things are being taught to females as well.
And to make matters even worse the Church has chosen to highlight siblings (a brother and sister) from Ghana in a video to go along with this teaching series. Their shameless behavior knows no bounds. Not only are they lying to the young folks there about the nature of God, they’re lying to them about being accepted by the Church while being black. Shame. These people live in a 3rd world country, typically destitute, unaware of the Church’s racist past and the Church is exploiting their circumstances because accepting people of all races is finally more acceptable than it used to be. Where was the Church 40-50 years ago?
Also pray for the many people leaving the Church and getting saved in Kenya and Uganda! We’ve planted another chapter of Life After Ministries in Northern Kenya this week and we’re looking forward to seeing the fruits God will produce in setting His people free! Thank You Jesus!!!!
