The Gospel Through the Ages, p. 20; “Since Jesus was foreordained to be the Savior of mankind, God the Father also honored Him by naming the plan of salvation the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It makes no particular difference by what title this system of truth had been called on other worlds, it contains the same eternal verities which, through obedience to its principles, exalt human beings in any world, giving to them eternal life.” – Milton Hunter
1 Timothy 1:17; “Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.”
There are a few verses in the Bible that bring me to my knees and 1 Tim. 1:17 is one of them. The others are Jude 1:24-25, and Ephesians 3:20.
They’ve been put in hymns, prayers, and other daily meditations that I’ve so enjoyed in my Christian life. These are the things Christians should think upon as we praise God for the mighty work He’s done.
You’ll notice the dichotomy between what God has said, and the lies in Mormonism. How vast they are!
How could anyone possibly believe the 7 lies in our Mormon reference today? Take a quick look at what Mr. Hunter said above –
1.Jesus was foreordained.
2.God named the plan of salvation after Jesus.
3.It makes no difference what the system is called.
4.There are gospels on other worlds.
5.Humans are exalted.
6.Eternal life gained by obedience.
7.Other gospels have other unknown names.
