The Words of Joseph Smith, p. 341; “7 April 1844…God never had the power to create the spirit of man…” – Joseph Smith
Job 33:4, 38:3-4; “The Spirit of God hath made me, and the breath of the Almighty hath given me life. 38:3 Gird up now thy loins like a man; for I will demand of thee, and answer thou me. 4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding.”
Mormons like to use Job 38:4 as an example to prove their position on the pre-existence of man. Instead of seeing this verse that God is asking the question from the position of authority, they’ve twisted its meaning to suit their own purpose.
Shame, shame, shame, shame, shame.
