Psalm 32:7 “Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.”
General Conference, ‘Build a Fortress of Spirituality and Protection,’ April 2019 “We make and renew our covenants by partaking of the sacrament and by worshipping in the temple. …
In the temple we can “lay aside the things of this world” and feel the Lord’s presence…We can focus on our ancestors, our families, and eternal life in the presence of the Father. …
As we diligently strengthen our fortifications, we become like Jesus Christ, as His true disciples, with our very souls in His protection. Your testimony of Jesus Christ is your personal fortress, the security for your soul. … Our testimonies…our homes, our families, and our membership in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will be our personal fortresses of protection…” — Ronald A. Rasband
Psalm 61:3 “For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.”
In addition to the Lord’s great wisdom in the two passages above, His word also reminds us about protection in Ephesians. Christians rightly know this as the ‘Armor of God’. Ephesians 6:17 “And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God”.
The helmet of salvation is the assurance you are saved. If you don’t have that, along with His word, you’re susceptible to Satan’s falsehoods! These are the best pieces of protection we have as Christians. Sadly, Mormons don’t have either of those things.
Incredibly, Mr. Rasband has lied to these people. Participating in necromancy is NEVER condoned by the Lord and temple ‘worship’ is necromancy.
Remind the Mormon in your life of what it says in the Psalms. With the way people and circumstances change, why would we want, or need, anyone but the Lord?
Psalm 73:25 “Whom have I in heaven but thee? And there is none upon earth that I desire beside thee.”
With Love in Christ;
Michelle
Feel the Lord’s presence in the Tempe? According to Acts 17:24, God does not reside in buildings made by men. Have you ever heard a Mormon tell you that Satan can not enter an LDS Temple. Next time a Mormon tells you that, ask him why they have security cameras in the temple along with security guards.
Want to feel God’s presence: Read MATTHEW 18:20 “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there I am in the midst of them.”
You don’t have to be inside a Mormon Temple or be a member of the Mormon Church to have a relationship with God through his son Jesus Christ.
The Mormon message is one of exclusiveness. Become on of us if you really want God’s protection and presence in you life. Mormon General Authorities don’t want the members to be well versed in the scriptures, because if they were, they might come to know the real Jesus Christ
The whole Mormon religion is based on lies, so it’s no surprise that more lies are told to encourage them.
Soldiermp: I want to point out that Matt.18:20 is in the context of church discipline. Too many people teach it as being about people gathering together for worship.
