Being guilty of racism is bad enough all on its own. Lying about your involvement makes it all the worse. Ask a Mormon if they advocate lying about a sin they’ve committed. Mormon doctrines were and still are, awash in racist teachings. The BoM alone speaks of their complicity in it.
I can’t imagine calling God a liar, can you? Tragically, this is what’s done by denying things like the LDS teachings below.

Unfortunately, that quote by Alexander Morrison has likely been read and digested by every member of the church. Joseph Smith’s criminal past, his false prophecies, his adulterous ways, will never be discussed within the Mormon church. Mormons never think outside the box. They will only discuss things that the folks in SLC have previously talked about. In a Mormon classroom setting, there are approved ways to speak and express yourself that are binding. You can’t raise questions or suggest discussing topics that haven’t already been mentioned in General Conference or inan article in the Ensign
Sadder still is the fact that even though they’ve been said at GC or end up in the edited version of the Ensign, members are still restrained by thinking too much about their leaders’ true message. Many times I was told not to worry, ‘we’ll find out when we get there’. Oh brother…
They’re right. They’ll find out, but then it’s going to be too late. My mother still hasn’t caught onto that theory even though I’ve told her as much countless times. 🙁
