Conference Report October 1926, 117 In reference to the modern inventions, then apostle Joseph Fielding Smith, made the following comments – “…I think this is very wonderful; and yet, this great discovery [the radio] did not come through revelation to a member of the Church; it was not sent through one who holds the Priesthood, but it came through one not of the Church but who was inspired of the Lord to give this great blessing to the world.
So with many other things, the automobile and the airplane as means of transportation; the talking machine and all of these great discoveries that have come through scientific research, they have come, most of them, outside of the Church. Yet I maintain that had there been no restoration of the gospel, and no organization of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, there would have been no radio; there would have been no airplane, and there would not have been the wonderul [sic] discoveries in medicine, chemistry, electricity, and the many other things wherein the world has been benefited by such discoveries.
Under such conditions these blessings would have been withheld, for they belong to the Dispensation of the Fulness of Times of which the restoration of the gospel and the organization of the Church constitute the central point…” — Joseph Fielding Smith [emp. added]
Proverbs 25:14 “Whoso boasteth himself of a false gift Is like clouds and wind without rain.”
If ever there was a perfect bible verse describing Joe Smith’s shenanigans, this one has to be it!
How reasonable is it that we wouldn’t have electricity, radios, medicine, or even airplanes without Smith’s false restoration?
Although Joseph Fielding Smith (Joe Smith’s nephew) delivered this speech almost 100 yrs ago, members today believe this type of teaching. Everything in the life of a Mormon revolves around what they’ve done, and how Joe Smith made even salvation possible.
With all that said, the most obvious question must be asked…
Where is Jesus?!
With Love in Christ;

J. F. Smith also said that man would not walk on the moon. Of course, this was NOT a prophecy because, well, man did walk on the moon. In that case, it was his opinion. Good save, right? Cult, cult, cult.
Yes, but it’s only convenient when you’ve set up a pretend world around yourself allowing an impenetrable buffer zone. PTL He’s keeping track of all things!
‘Let someone else praise you and not your own mouth, an outsider and not your own lips.? (Proverbs 27:1,2)
“Pride goes before destruction, a haughty spirit before a fall. Better to be lowly in spirit along with the oppressed, than to share plunder with the proud.” (pROVERBS 16:18)
“Even fools are thought wise when they keep silent and discerning if they hold their tongues.” (pROVERBS 17:28)

Too many General Authorities speak great swelling words of vanity. The allure through empty, boastful words and by appealing to the lustful desires of the flesh; they entice people with promises of freedom, while they themselves are slaves off depravity; for people are SLAVES TO WHATEVER HAS MASTERED THEM (restored gospel, joe smith, BOM. D&C., tithing, visiting teaching,words of former prophets).. Mormons have allowed themselves to become slaves to the church and victims of spiritual abuse by such as Joseph Fielding Smith
Well said brother, well said!
