February 12 – Trying to Outsmart God. Genesis 3:6 “So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.”

For members of the LDS Church, knowledge is an essential element in their long list of mandates needed for true salvation. Ask a Mormon for their opinion of Genesis 3:6. Do they personally feel smart enough to be saved? How intelligent must someone be to gain salvation?
The Church has imposed an imaginary litmus-type test to instill fear, and uncertainty into the hearts of its members. Shame on them!
