“He must increase, but I must decrease.” John 3:30
Liahona, ‘The Power of the Priesthood,’ May 2010, p. 7 “The priesthood…was to be named after Melchizedek, the great high priest to whom Abraham paid tithes. …
President Joseph Fielding Smith said, “While it may be said . . . that we are but a handful in comparison with . . . the world, yet we may be compared with the leaven of which the Savior spoke, which will eventually leaven [or lift] the whole world.” We can and in due time certainly will influence all of humanity. It will be known who we are and why we are. …
Priesthood is the authority and the power which God has granted to men on earth to act for Him. When priesthood authority is exercised properly, priesthood bearers do what He would do if He were present. We have done very well at distributing the authority of the priesthood. We have priesthood authority planted nearly everywhere.” — Boyd K. Packer
Hebrews 7:25-28 “Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. 26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; 27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself. 28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.”
Hebrews 9:14-16 “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? 15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. 16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.
Hebrews 10:10-14 “By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all. 11 And every priest standeth daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins: 12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God; 13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool. 14 For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”
You can see in the LDS reference above how the Church has lied. Not only does the Bible tell us the need for sacrifices ended with the death of Jesus, there’s nothing we could ever do to wipe out our sins, enabling us to gain salvation.
Moreover, as we’ve pointed out a few times, the Church has used the term ‘leaven’ incorrectly more times than not. Jesus used the word leaven in a positive sense only one time in Mark 13:13. See articles below for more info.

Paganism Grafted into Christianity/Leaven of Truth
Typically, the term leaven is used to describe why we should avoid sin because it permeates everything in life, just as a little leaven causes bread to grow bigger.
The Mormon priesthood is actually a priestcraft intended to harm, confuse, and lead people away from Jesus, not to Him.
If they held, or even needed the priesthood, why do they believe in Jesus? Priests were the middleman in OT times, but on this side of the cross, Jesus fulfilled that role! Hebrews 1:1-2

It all sounds so good, doesn’t it? Until you actually read the Bible and discover their “priesthood” is total nonsense.
