November 2 – LDS: Poverty Persists from Lack of Tithing. Proverbs 19:17 “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord.”
_____
17th President of the Church — Russell Marion Nelson — Served from 2018 – Present
The lack of empathy for the poorest of the poor was the hallmark message of Russell Nelson’s tour to Kenya. His open hand waited for their money, not to hand them what they might need. Please pray for those who aren’t aware of the Church’s hidden agendas, and for Jesus to intervene!
Mr. Nelson’s words were a sad reminder of the Church’s real agenda.
Matthew 12:36 “But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.”
_____
“We preach tithing to the poor people of the world because the poor people of the world have had cycles of poverty, generation after generation,” he said. “That same poverty continues from one generation to another, until people pay their tithing. The law of the tithe was followed by ancient peoples as taught by Old Testament prophets. LDS faithful believe God restored the law and its blessings for those who follow it by giving one-tenth of their income to the church.” — Russell M. Nelson. See ‘Shameful LDS African Tour’ for more info, and quotes from this speech.

Where’s the humanity? The LD$ INC. has amassed about 200 BILLION dollars now in assets. Did they give 10% of that towards any humanitarian efforts? I don’t think so. But, last year they sure boasted about donating 18 million to the American Red Cross. Yes, that’s a lot of money, but they could do better. And this only happened shortly after a complaint was filed by a whistle blower, who said the church holds 100 billion dollars of church members tithing in a charitable fund called Ensign Peak that hasn’t been used in over 20 years. The church claims it’s for the second coming. Wait…so God who’s self-existent needs hundreds of billions of dollars for the second coming?
So what does Jesus have to say about this?
Matthew 19:21
“Jesus said unto him, if thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven; and come and follow me”.
Amen, amen, amen!!!
So condescending. His comment about ‘giving one-tenth of their income to the CHURCH’, as if they were buying stock in a company, was so revealing. I am curious about the earthly comforts the GAs enjoy as a result of those tithing dollars. Aren’t the tithes meant to help the poor?? Perhaps this is an example of the Bible not being translated correctly?
I was thinking the same thing and wondered if there were stock options with the level of giving,.. It must be absolutely heartbreaking for the Lord to see how people have believed their many lies.
What they refuse to acknowledge is that the tithe was for the nation of Israel and not for Christians. The LDS is just greedy.
