January 8 — Free Agency. Joshua 24:14-15 “Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD. 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”

Agency, free will. Man’s ability to make choices on his own volition has been apparent since the days of Adam and Eve in the Garden of Eden. The world’s decrepit moral state, and its continual decline, is a clear indicator we’ve had free will, and haven’t used it wisely.
One of the important things we pray for here at the ministry is for Mormons to know they have free will. Even though the term ‘agency’ is a huge thing for Mormons, they’ve been tricked to believe it means something other than it really does.
We all have free will/agency and see this each time the Bible tells us to repent and believe in Him. (Matthew 3:2; 4:17; Acts 3:19; 1 John 3:23) Help clear the fog of the Mormon’s confusion by telling him/her God didn’t need Satan to introduce this evil so man could have free agency.
God already gave it to them!

Encyclopedia of Mormonism, p. 26 “Agency is an essential ingredient of being human, “inherent in the spirit of man” (McKay, p. 366) both in the premortal spirit existence (D&C 29:36) and in mortality. No being can possess sensibility, rationality, and a capacity for happiness without it… Moreover, it is the specific gift by which God made his children in his image and empowered them to grow to become like him through their own progression of choices (L. Snow, JD 20:367). It was because Satan “sought to destroy the agency of man” (Moses 4:3) that the war was fought in heaven before earth life (cf. Rev. 12:7).”

Dreamer and liars….and sadly, some were perverts. Thank goodness they received ‘revelations’ just in time to adjust their lifestyles to god’s word on the situation. Pre-existence? How dare they mock God. It is so tragic.
