Joseph Smith History 1:33; “…my name should be had for good and evil among all nations, kindreds, and tongues…”
The one sure thing that hasn’t changed since Matthew put ink to papyri is the message he recorded that came from God’s angel, Gabriel. The story hasn’t changed. You won’t find a reputable source divulging any information outside what we read in God’s word. While it sounds simplistic, it had to be one of the most profound messages known to mankind.
‘Call His name Jesus’…it’s the segue to discovering how God intervened on man’s behalf through the soon-to-be-born child, Jesus, the one and only Savior of the world.

1 John 2:29; “If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.”
Today we’re examining questionable comments (a-hem, lies) the LDS Church told in a commentary for one of their standard works; the Pearl of Great Price. The irony in this writing, and those of other LDS authorities couldn’t be richer, and the longer we looked, the worse it got. Please, don’t forget to pray for them! Pray also other Christians will recall what John said in his epistle so they don’t get fooled into believing the lies.
The passage we’ve used is listed below, followed by a few questions and comments from the points we’re looking at today. The strange part about this is how they accused Satan of lying to Eve, yet they’re the guilty party. We’re not defending Satan mind you! We just wondering if they’re ever using the Bible…at all… As you read through this, see how many of their lies you pick up on.
BTW – this is one of the most demonic, outright evil things I’ve seen in Mormon writings to date. I shudder to think of the impact it will have on those who believe this.
Pearl of Great Price Commentary, p. 146; “The devil in tempting Eve told a truth when he said unto her that when she should eat of the tree of knowledge of good and evil they should become as Gods. He told the truth in telling that, but he accompanied it with a lie as he always does. He never tells the complete truth. He said that they should not die. The Father had said that they should die. The devil had to tell a lie in order to accomplish his purposes; but there was some truth in his statement. Their eyes were opened. They had a knowledge of good and evil just as the Gods have. They became as Gods; for that is one of the features, one of the peculiar attributes of those who attain unto that glory—they understand the difference between good and evil.” (George Q. God (Elohim) an Exalted Man

New temple film helps one woman finally leave the church

I just read an amazing testimony from a woman who was having doubts about Mormonism, but like many she tried to ignore what the Lord was revealing to her. I relate to many of the things she says. I also felt uneasiness in the temple the last time I was there, especially during the part where Satan looks at the audience and delivers his dramatic, threatening monologue to all who would even think about leaving the church.
A word of warning before you click on the link, some of her vocabulary might not sit well with some readers. We share her testimony with you because these things need to be addressed. As raw as her testimony is, it really hits home to what Mormonism is about, and the emotions one feels as they come to the realization that it’s all a farce.

This morning I came across a Facebook page titled “I Love the Book of Mormon”. My question to Mormons is why do you love this book? What’s so special about it?
The mormon.org website describes the Book of Mormon as “another witness that Jesus Christ really lived, that He was and is God’s Son. “ As I read that statement alone a couple of questions came to mind such as:

As I watch this video I think back to a time I actually believed in what I was doing, I can’t believe I used to participate in this madness. Looking back now I wish that I would have seen then what I see now, it’s paganism there’s no other word for it. Satan stars as one of the leading roles with Jesus only receiving a minor one, and it’s not even the real Jesus. This video should sweep away any doubt in the minds of those wondering if Mormonism is really a cult.
