April 10 — Obey the Prophet’s Voice. Acts 5:29 “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.”

To whom does your loyalty go to first? Is it God, or man?
When a prophet, or apostle, tells members they must hear the prophet’s voice and obey, what’s next?
Ask your Mormon friend what they think of their statement. It wasn’t made back in the ‘40’s, nor was it mandated by Brigham Young. This comment came from the LDS apostle, Robert D. Hales at a General Conference 27 years ago.
Ask why this man pointed only to their prophets, and not to the Lord.

“Hear the Prophet’s Voice and Obey” “If we follow the counsel given by the prophets, we can have a life in mortality where we do not bring upon ourselves unnecessary pain and self-destruction. … All the words of counsel from the prophets of all generations have been given so that we may be strengthened and then be able to lift and strengthen others.” — Robert D. Hales
[…] Obey the Prophet’s Voice […]
Lie upon lie. Man’s opines, not God’s. Cults do that. Those who know Jesus’ voice, follow him. Those who don’t, follow impostors. Thank you, LORD for saving a wretch like me.
Amen, amen, amen!
