November 3 — Brigham Young: Jesus had Reduced Understanding. Dan. 9:24b “…and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.”
Luke 1:35 “And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.”

Mormons believe Jesus was susceptible to sinning like we are. This is seen in the way Brigham Young described the Lord by stating He came here with reduced understanding and was one of the weakest children ever born.
How could Jesus be referred to as Most Holy if these things were true?
Brigham seemed all too eager to dismiss what God had to say about Jesus. Ask a Mormon if they feel the same way about Jesus that Brigham did.
Be sure show with demonstrative evidence from the Bible how God fulfilled His promise through the birth of His Son!

Journal of Discourses 3:366 “Jesus descended very low in his parentage and birth; but the question may be asked, did he condescend to be reduced in his understanding? By the same reasoning I would believe that he did. I would believe that he was one of the weakest children that was ever born, one of the most helpless at his birth; so helpless that it might have been supposed that he would never grow up to manhood.” – Brigham Young, Salt Lake City, June 22, 1856
