January 9 – Mormons Want to Save You. Psalm 49:7 “None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him.”

We’re praying Mormons will come to know, and each accept into their heart, Psalm 49:7. If they truly did this, the need to build temples and perform necromantic works therein, would obviously subside making room for true worship of the Lord. John 4:24
You’ll want to ask the Mormon you know for their opinion on Mr. Cannon’s remark, ‘we want to save you’. The Bible tells us that the blood of Jesus is the only means to be saved. Although Mr. Cannon made this remark 140 years ago the Church still teaches the same dogma which begs the question…
If the Church is their savior, where does Jesus fit in?

Journal of Discourses 23:367 “You know when you hear the servants of God, by the power of God that accompanies their words, and by the testimony of Jesus that He gives unto you, that they are His servants. This is your witness, and you are our witnesses as to the truth of our claims and the divinity of the authority which we exercise in your midst. We want to save you. We want to teach you the plan of salvation. We want to point out to you the way in which you should go.” – George Q. Cannon, Salt Lake City, October 29, 1882
And there is that misplaced and misapplied “AUTHORITY”… Again.
They seem to like that word even though they’re bankrupt in that area.
In all honesty, they want to separate you from you checkbook. They want to know your home address so they can keep tabs on you. When you give them enough money from your checkbook they will shower you with the blessings a temple recommend provides. If you do not do that, well….they don´t like you very much. Thatś what I learned growing up in the Mormon church.
You’re not alone. It’s what I saw/experienced as well growing up in Utah Mormonism. They liked my parents if they tithed but when that stopped so did the concern they had for us.
It was actually a good lesson – for me anyway.
