November 7 — LDS: Jesus Judges on Rigorous Theology. Hebrews 9:14 “How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?”

There are numerous places in the gospels alone where Jesus tells us that if you believe in Him, you shall be saved.
How sad it is for the Mormon people who choose to ignore what the Lord has said in exchange for mere men who says otherwise!
Today’s LDS reference from Neal Maxwell is exactly the opposite of what our Lord has said. Be sure you share the truth with the Mormon you know today and also patiently share what Paul told the believers in Rome. Asking Jesus to be your God and Savior isn’t a rigorous ordeal!
Romans 10:9-10 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

“The Man of Galilee will finally judge each of us on the basis of a rigorous celestial theology, instead of the popular “no-fault theology” of this telestial world. (Ensign, May 1975, p. 101.).” — Neal Maxwell Quote Book, p 184.
