“A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.” Proverbs 19:9
General Conference, ‘Personal Peace in Challenging Times,’ October 2021 “One of the reasons for the violent opposition to our members was most of them were opposed to slavery.” — Quentin L. Cook
But…
Joint Session of the Legislature: January 23, 1852 “I will remark with regard to slavery, inasmuch as we believe in the Bible, inasmuch as we believe in the ordinances of God, in the Priesthood and order and decrees of God, we must believe in slavery.” — Brigham Young
James 1:8 “A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.”
Why these people can’t tell the truth is a mystery indeed. Unfortunately, their lies have come at the expense of millions. My mother is one of those.
Not only have they passed down the habit of lying but their racist ways as well.
There’s a popular saying about people like those in the Mormon Church… ‘You know they’re lying when their lips move.’
Please, pray for those who are caught in the web of lies and for them to see the dangers of following false teachers!
With Love in Christ —
