January 12 — LDS Canon Still Contains Racist Doctrines. Genesis 22:8 “And Abraham said, My son, God will provide himself a lamb for a burnt offering: so they went both of them together.”
John 1:29 “The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.”

The Lamb of God promised … I’m curious…why didn’t the Bible specify that Jesus’ sacrifice didn’t extend to certain people groups?
Furthermore, why would God set up His kingdom in a geographical area of the world where people aren’t white? The Mormon god has changed and dramatically so! Ask the Mormon you know how they can trust a god that changes his mind all the time.
Members today can try to say they aren’t racist but carrying around the Book of Mormon and the Pearl of Great Price is in complete defiance of what the Bible has always proclaimed!
Lastly beloved, pray for those who seem to blindly place their eternal lives into the hands of an unreliable god.

Mormon Doctrine, pp. 526-527 “The Blacks are denied the Priesthood; under no circumstances can they hold this delegation of authority from the Almighty. The Negroes are not equal with other races where the receipt of certain blessings are concerned, particularly the priesthood and the temple blessings that flow there from, but this inequality is not of man’s origin, it is the Lord’s doings.” – Bruce McConkie
FYI! We’ve updated the reference above! For the latest see Mormon Doctrine pp. 476-477. The Church’s version of Mormon Doctrine on this topic has been heavily edited and they removed all documents hinting at their racist past. Here’s another look at their sanitized version of Mormon Doctrine.
