January 13 – LDS: There are Familiar Spirits in Book of Mormon. We are warned by Jesus in Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves”.

The scriptures are replete with warnings about the evil one and how to decipher who he really is. Other testaments, false Christs, dangerous prophets, and familiar spirits are all signs of Satan. We are to stay away at all times, and guard ourselves against such evil!
Read Isaiah 29:4 to see Isaiah’s prophecy about familiar spirits.
Isaiah 29:4 “And thou shalt be brought down, and shalt speak out of the ground, and thy speech shall be low out of the dust, and thy voice shall be, as of one that hath a familiar spirit, out of the ground, and thy speech shall whisper out of the dust.”
Another problem with all this is how the BoM plagiarized the Bible. If they don’t trust God’s word, why are they plagiarizing it?
