October 27 – Jesus is… John 14:6 “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”
_____
On October 27, 1988, our daughter, Mallory Elizabeth, died. My husband Kirk and I were told by the bishop at her funeral that because we hadn’t been married in the temple, we’d never see her again and she’d be given to another family who was worthy. Therefore, we had no salvation either.
During that funeral I remember standing at her grave when a picture came to mind, and I’m still convinced the Lord put it there.
On one side of the visual was a cross and the other side was a Mormon temple. As quickly as the image appeared it was gone.
Jesus told us in the book of John it is through Him and Him only that we would see the Father. Wouldn’t it stand to reason He would have told us to get married in a certain building if it were necessary?

“The ordinances of the temple, the endowment and sealings, pertain to exaltation in the celestial kingdom, where the sons and daughters are. The sons and daughters are not outside in some other kingdom. The sons and daughters go into the house, belong to the household, have access to the home. “In my Father’s house are many mansions.” Sons and daughters have access to the home where he dwells, and you cannot receive that access until you go to the temple. Why? Because you must receive certain key words as well as make covenants by which you are able to enter. If you try to get into the house, and the door is locked, how are you going to enter, if you haven’t your key? You get your key in the temple, which will admit you… If parents are righteous, they will have their children after the resurrection. Little children who die, whose parents are not worthy of an exaltation, will be adopted into the families of those who are worthy.” Joseph Fielding Smith, Doctrines of Salvation, 2:40, 56.

So sorry for your loss. Prayers that it gets easier everyday. My parents lost their son(my brother) in 1991. It was very hard. But we know we will see him again. God is great. So glad you left the Mormon church and are doing Gods work. Praise the Lord. God bless you and your husband.
Thanks for your kind words! Some days are easier than others and it lessens as time goes by as I’m sure it does with your folks.
God bless and thanks for the insight and prayers you give to us here at the ministry!

You are so welcome. Take care and keep up the great work u are doing. My mom is still catholic and my niece became a Mormon.🙏🙏🙏🙏
Oh M.j
I’ll be sure to keep your family in prayer! It’s obviously not an easy thing to live with whenever your loved ones are in such a predicament.
I always have to remind myself about what Paul said in Eph. 6:11-12 – it’s not about flesh and blood but the powers and principalities of the air. Ugh.
One thing is certain. If we feel such grief just imagine what Jesus must feel…
Thanks so much.💜Have a wonderful day. God is awesome.🙏🙏🙏for the spiritually blinded.
What a heinous thing to say to grieving parents!! Proving once again that the LDS is a cult from hell.
We’ve lost both our children to a cultic situation and it’s as if they died since we are allowed no contact for over 20 years. I grieve with you.
What happened?! Send me an email if you don’t want to post it here.
I’ll share via email. It is a bit long to explain how it happened.
