November 2 — The Seer, p. 215 “Questions and Answers On Doctrine…
Q. What does the Lord require of the people of the United States?
A. He requires them to repent of all their sins and embrace the message of salvation, contained in the Book of Mormon, and be baptized into THIS church, and prepare themselves for the coming of the Lord.
Q. What will be the consequence if they do not embrace the Book of Mormon as a divine revelation?
A. They will be DESTROYED from the land and SENT DOWN TO HELL, like all other generations who have rejected a divine message!” – Apostle Orson Pratt
_____
Romans 10:4, 9 “For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone that believeth. 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.”
_____
Romans 10:4 and 9 says it all and completely refutes what the apostle Pratt said above.
Would the Church stand at a pulpit in today’s political climate and say the same thing. Probably not.
Please pray they’ll turn to the Bible and not the false gospel from an angel of light!

Amen sister, amen!
I will never embrace the Book of Mormon. It’s a false gospel written by a con man. God have mercy. Prayers for them all to wake up. Somebody said try it, I said no it’s false. I have done my research on it.
To MJ – To entertain the BoM is to reject God Almighty! I just can’t imagine the thought!

I just happened to receive a notification from a blog I follow, Latter-day Saint Faith, Reason, and Sobriety, where a contributing writer posted a response to this very topic. They pointed out—which I verified by reading The Seer myself—that you failed to include the lengthy response Pratt gave as part of this Question and Answer segment.
You can see the LDS response to yours and I guess Glenn E. Chatfield’s post here: https://timothyrberman.com/2026/01/06/why-modern-critiques-of-the-seer-miss-the-point-a-contextual-lds-perspective/
If you are claiming to speak the truth, how come you are engaged in being quite deceptive and dishonest in your approach? I don’t get it.
