If the true church is not a dead branch (meaning the Protestants) then how could the Reformation be inspired of God?
Why was it a necessary development to prepare the way for Joseph Smith?
The theme of the Book of Mormon is that the Catholics and Protestants are the ‘whores of Babylon’. The Seer, p. 255 by Apostle Orson Pratt. Also see 1 Nephi 14:10 that reiterates other churches are the whores of all the earth.
How could Mormonism be a living tree if it’s built from other churches?
