March 16 — History of the Church 5:403 “Salvation is for a man to be saved from all his enemies; for until a man can triumph over death, he is not saved. A knowledge of the priesthood alone will do this.” — Joseph Smith, May 22, 1843
_____
1 Corinthians 1:25 “Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.”
_____
If Joseph Smith is right, why does anyone need Jesus?
How does anyone triumph over their enemies?
What purpose does that serve?
Does triumphing over enemies mean to kill, outwit, or to just outlast someone?
Mr. Smith was showing signs of delusion.
Furthermore, the priesthood belongs to Jesus, not us.
Pray for Mormons to ask Jesus into their lives. Joseph Smith’s teachings aren’t from the Lord and need to be tossed straightaway!
With Love in Christ —
