Micah 4:5; “For all people will walk everyone in the name of his god, And we will walk in the name of the Lord our God forever and ever.”

With the advent of a new Mormon prophet being called into office, we thought we’d look at how the Church does this, and compare it to what the Bible says.

We’re on our knees praying the Mormon people will take heed of the declaration in Micah and denounce the false gods they’ve embraced!

According to the Church’s website, a new prophet isn’t actually chosen in the way you, or I, might think. The next prophet simply takes his new job based on seniority. The apostle that’s been in office the longest is next in line.

  August 21, 1927 – January 2, 2018

Thomas S. Monson, 16th President of the LDS Church died late Tuesday night, January 2, 2018 at his home, according to the Deseret News.

Once again, we’re asking Christians to pray for surviving family members to know the real Jesus of the Bible.

As we stated in the passing of other LDS officials, while we don’t like their ideologies, we do grieve he was espousing doctrines that so clearly deny our Lord.

Presidents/Prophets of the LDS Church 

     Below is a chronological list of prophets in the LDS Church. Along with dates served, I’ve included what I’ve dubbed a notable quotable for each. As you can imagine the list to choose the most heretical quote was extensive, alas, I hope what is presented will suffice in providing the reader good examples of the abhorrent doctrines promulgated by these leaders.
