As everyone knows, I receive Google Alerts on all things Mormon. Last week I began receiving emails about newspapers reporting on a whistleblower exposing what the Church does with its money.
According to a former insider, the Church misled members on where their tithing goes. The Washington Post reported the insider filed a complaint with the IRS in November. He alleges the Church stockpiled $100 billion dollars from surplus donations into accounts, and they weren’t using them for charity. (more…)
