AT LAST!!! Here’s the final installment of our series on Smith’s Egyptian hypocephalus – Praise God!
Today we’re looking at Figures 19-23.
Remember how Joseph Smith translated figures 19-21? His interpretation was: “…will be given in the own due time of the Lord.”

Mighty God and Sleeping One
In today’s dilemma we’re getting a 2-fer. Figures 10-11 are found on the left side of the hypocephalus, placed upside down and translated incorrectly. How’s that for a prophetic deliverance?
As I’ve been studying these things I’ve also been watching a series on the Military Channel of all things where they’ve aired several programs on Ancient Egypt. Not surprisingly none of the expert’s opinions would agree with Smith’s analysis of these Egyptian hieroglyphics.

Netherworld
Today’s look at Joseph Smith’s translation makes me wonder if he wasn’t ready to tell his followers that his god was the god of the underworld.
Pray the Mormon will see these things and question what this means for him/her. Why would the Holy God of the Bible want you to be involved with a god of the underworld? How does this glorify Him?

The Holy God of Israel, the One and Only True God of the Universe has given specific directives and nothing in His word gives permission to worship or represent Him in any form. In fact having images is a form of idolatry.
Exodus 20:3-4; “Thou shalt have no other gods before me. 4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:”
Ezekiel 20:7; “Then said I unto them, Cast ye away every man the abominations of his eyes, and defile not yourselves with the idols of Egypt: I am the LORD your God.”
Anyone or anything that disagrees with the LDS Church is considered anti-Mormon. Yet, the Church considers themselves to be a Christian church.
